    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

    Our puppies include blue merle, black tri, red tri, and red merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

Getting a puppy from Nichole & Steven

Nichole & Steven has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Nichole & Steven partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“🐾 Pickup Policies & Extended Stay Procedures At Sun & Moon Mini Aussies, we work hard to ensure every puppy transitions smoothly into their new home. Because we carefully schedule go-home dates, transportation routes, veterinary timing, and preparation for each family, clear communication and timely pickup are extremely important. 📅 Scheduled Pickup Date Each puppy is assigned a scheduled go-home date at the time of reservation. We ask that families confirm pickup plans prior to this date. Final payment, along with any applicable transportation fees, must be paid in full before pickup or delivery. We require confirmation via phone call or text prior to the scheduled go-home date to ensure everything is properly coordinated. ⏳ Grace Period We understand that unexpected circumstances can arise. A brief grace period may be allowed with advance communication. However, puppies cannot be held indefinitely without prior arrangement. 🏡 Extended Stay Policy If a family is unable to pick up their puppy on the scheduled go-home date, extended stay arrangements must be requested in advance and approved. Extended stay fees cover: Continued daily care Food and supplies Cleaning and sanitation Ongoing socialization and supervision Boarding space that would otherwise be reserved for future litters Extended stay fees must be paid upfront before the puppy is held past the scheduled pickup date. This ensures commitment and allows us to properly allocate time and care for the puppy. 🚫 Lack of Communication If we do not receive confirmation or communication before the scheduled go-home date, we will assume the family is unable to proceed. The puppy may then be made available to another approved home. Deposits are handled according to the terms outlined in our contract. ❤️ Why We Have These Policies Our policies are not meant to be punitive — they are in place to: Protect the puppy’s stability and routine Ensure responsible placement Maintain fairness to families on our waiting list Allow us to properly manage space, care, and scheduling Prevent last-minute cancellations or abandoned reservations Our priority is always the well-being of our puppies and ensuring they transition confidently into loving, prepared homes. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we continue raising healthy, well-socialized Mini Aussies for exceptional families.”

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,300 - $3,300 final payment, before taxes & fees.

    We recently got our Australian Shepherd puppy, Nova (formerly Joy), from Nicole and Steven at Good Dog, and it’s been a mostly wonderful experience as first-time adopters. They were responsive and helpful, meeting us halfway between Sarasota and Wauchula for the pickup, which we really appreciated. Nova’s settled right into our dog-friendly community—she loves attention from people and is always ready to meet new puppy and older dog friends, even if they’re not as playful as she is. Potty training has gone well, and we think Nicole and Steven gave her a great start. They did a good job explaining MDR (multidrug resistance) and prepping us for vet reactions, though we’ve found some vets dismissive about it, which has been a bit frustrating. One hiccup for us: we wish we’d asked for their personal contract beforehand. Good Dog mentions breeders can have their own terms, but we missed that somehow. It required a vet check within 3 days, and since we picked Nova up on a Saturday, booking an appointment that fast was challenging-something we didn’t anticipate as first-timers. Overall, Nicole and Steven were great to work with, and Nova’s brought us and everyone she meets so much joy and happiness.
