I'm Kelly S., the breeder behind Sundog Tamaskan located in Luling, LA. Sundog Tamaskan is a culmination of my years of dog experience & training. Bringing the best possible dogs to their forever homes.
Q. & A. with Kelly
Why did you start breeding?
My father bred, showed and worked dogs when I was young. I was given the chance to shadow some amazing trainers and breeders and loved seeing the joy they brought to their puppy homes through their dedication. I always wanted to continue that tradition and just needed to find the perfect breed and way for me to make ethical breeding my own through my very own program.
What makes your program special?
I have spent a lot of my adult life learning not just about breeding, but training, behavior modification, exotic animal husbandry, and breeding, grooming, nutrition, and sport. I've been employed as a trainer, groomer, kennel manager, at zoos and aquariums, and run breed research projects. While there are a number of amazing breeders out there few have such well-rounded educations and experience.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
