I'm Jessica H., the breeder behind Sunflower Doodles located in Cullman, AL. Our program is built upon a foundation of love, admiration, and respect for the Doodle breeds! Our dogs are bred with a focus on temperament and health with the goal to place all of our pups with the perfect family complimentary to their personality. Our priority is to ensure the health and well-being of all our dogs from birth until they leave with their forever family and beyond!

Why did you start breeding?
At a young age, my father bred Beagles. I have always been intrigued by the process. Once I was married, I knew I wanted to breed because of my love for all animals. I started out breeding Australian Shepards but always dreamed of having a Labradoodle or Goldendoodle. I purchased my first Labradoodle, Caroline, and fell in love. She is the most human dog I’ve ever been around. From here it just got better. I purchased my second, Sophie, again fell in love. I continued growing my business and now my best friend has two of my dogs living with her also.What makes your program special?
I feel like the time spent with the puppies makes a difference. I am here when they are born and have my hands on them every single day until they go home. Some do this for the money. I do it because I love animals. I am always willing to learn or change to improve my program. I health test all my dogs to ensure they are healthy, and I use Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) exercises to get the pups off to a great start. Our puppies include miniature, medium, and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

“Also included are CKC registration, vaccinations, deworming, a wellness check from the Veterinarian, a blanket with mom's scent, a Sunflower Soodle bandanna, a collar, toy, and extra dewormer. Standard Goldendoodle puppies are all $1,250-1,500. Medium/mini Goldendoodles 2,000$ Mini Medium Goldendoodles 2,000 Mini/Medium Aussiedoodles 2,000$.”

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
