Meet the breeder

I'm Tricia N., the breeder behind Sunridge Goldens located in Crawfordsville, IN. I am a small in-home kennel that breeds English golden retrievers. I selected my foundation dogs from our dear friends at Gillbryan, a very distinguished English kennel. My goal is to produce a healthy, structurally correct golden. Always striving to improve the breed.

Q. & A. with Tricia

  • Why did you start breeding?

I grew up with sporting dogs, but it wasn't until I started working in education and saw students who struggled daily that I started my journey to find the all-around dog. A dog that I could do sports with, but could also provide comfort to children and adults alike.
  • What makes your program special?

Bringing my vision to life was not made overnight. My dream has been years in the making. I visited multiple kennels and walked away from cute puppies. I knew I needed a biddable dog, correct in structure, sound, and healthy. I searched for the versatility that's hard to come by. My puppies are bred for purpose, these are very well thought out litters. Producing pups from top European lines.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
