Each puppy is bred, raised, and loved indoors to ensure health, happiness, and harmony at the start of its life. At Wynn Farms, beauty is a given, but producing healthy and loving Malteses is our true goal.

Getting a puppy from Amanda

Amanda has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Amanda partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“We evaluate each puppy's individual temperament as they grow, and puppies are matched to buyers based on the best fit for your lifestyle, experience level, and home environment. Rather than allowing first-come, first-served pick of the litter, we ask buyers to share what they're looking for (energy level, family with young kids, experienced vs. first-time owner, etc.), and we help guide the match.”

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,500 - $2,400 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Price includes first round of vaccinations, a one month health guarantee, deworming, socialization with people and other dogs and pee pad training. $500 deposit secures your chosen puppy and removes them from our available list. This deposit is non-refundable and goes toward the total price], with the balance due before or at pick-up.”

Contract & health guarantee

Amanda may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Amanda offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don't hesitate to reach out to Amanda directly.

Parent health testing

Sunset Farm reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Maltese.

Hip Dysplasia (Preliminary)
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
