I'm Nikki W., the breeder behind Sunset Meadows Collies located in Elkhorn, WI. We are a husband & wife team that strive to help preserve the Collie breed. Our focus for preservation is to breed to the AKC standard & raise well socialized puppies with wonderful temperaments and excellent health inside our home enjoying our family and all the sights and sounds that brings.

Why did you start breeding?
Our love for Collies and the fact that it seemed to be very difficult to find them in the Midwest inspired us to start researching everything possible about the breed. After years of research and mentoring we are now ready to share this amazing breed with the world in a responsible way. Our dogs have brought so much happiness to us and our family that we want to share that love with you.What makes your program special?
We are raising puppies inside our home, not out in kennels. We use the Puppy Culture Program as a big part of socialization. Being raised in a home means they will experience things that happen in the every day life of a pet, such as vacuuming, doorbells, children laughing or screaming, and much more. Our puppies will be ready to take on the world as your new family member in just 8 short weeks.Where do your breeding dogs live?
