I'm Elana P., the breeder behind Sunset Standard Poodles located in Woodinville, WA. It has always been my passion to raise smart, loving, and loyal puppies. We train all our puppies using the Puppy Culture method. Great family dog.

Why did you start breeding?
I grew up on a farm and loved being around animals of all kinds: dogs, horses, goats, chickens, etc. I played an active role in their delivery and care. I developed such a passion for it! After our son was born, we decided to get a Poodle to be his companion growing up. That is when we fell in love with Poodles and wanted others to experience the joy and happiness that we have experienced.What makes your program special?
Sunset Standard Poodles priority is to love and care for each of our puppies and prepare them to be healthy and thrive in their forever homes.What are the different breed sizes in your program?

"Price includes: 2 year health guarantee. limited AKC registration, pedigree, deworming, vaccinations, aptitude testing using Puppy Culture, sound/fear training, sit/stay commands, crate training, and potty training. We searched long and diligently for a male puppy to add to our breeding program. And we are happy to announce that Archie comes from 26 generations of Champion blood lines. His temperment shows it all. He is sweet and loving. He is exactly what I was looking for. He learned his comands so fast! his temperment is well rounded. He is so great in public crouded places, allowing people to pet him. Hes good with kids, other dogs and cats.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
