I'm Shelby N., the breeder behind Sunshine’s Dachshunds located in Gaston, IN. We breed with the standard to provide healthy and quality puppies to families! Parents and puppies are CKC registered and parents (unless purchased as a health tested puppy) are full panel embark tested to ensure quality health prior to breeding! We want to provide a life long companion for you and your family!

    My grandmother started me out young teaching me everything I know!

  • What makes your program special?

    We follow along every step of the way when purchasing and after homing one of our puppies! We love to hear how they’re doing and any questions our puppy parents have!

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies include smooth and longhaired coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include piebald, red, chocolate and tan, black and tan, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Shelby

Shelby has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $400 non-refundable deposit and between $650 - $1,300 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Price includes first shots, deworming, health check, vet records, AKC or CKC papers, 6month congenital health guarantee, and puppy pack! All puppies are same price regardless of color! I require a signed puppy contract and spay/neuter contract (unless purchasing breeding rights).”

Contract & health guarantee

Shelby may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Shelby offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don't hesitate to reach out to Shelby directly.
