I'm Joel M., the breeder behind Sunway Kennels located in North Carolina. We understand the importance of solid foundations and health test our lines to ensure we are breeding to the standards you expect. We breed with a focus on health and temperament, and we have years of experience in preparing puppies for their forever homes. We spend lots of time socializing and training our pups so they will have a great foundation of good behavior and neurological development.

They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
DNA Disease Panel, Dermatomyositis, Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

+4I can’t be happier with all the help I got from JoelThe moment I saw my precious little Piper walk out his door I was in love with her.I had to drive 41/2 hours in a torrential downpour ,but it was so worth it!I I know my Piper was well taken care of before I picked her up and Joel made sure I got her on the right track! He sent me videos of her playing in the yard.It is hard to buy something sight unseen,so he made sure I had the pictures and videos so I could get a good idea of exactly what I was getting.He even recommended a couple places for dinner as we were spending the night before I picked Piper up! I highly recommend Joel and Sunway Kennels!!
