I'm Amber M., the breeder behind Sweet Mercy Farm located in Spokane, WA. We are a small in-home hobby breeding program. Our pugs, Bandit and Maisy, are family members, and we breed out of love for the breed to bless families with happy, well-raised puppies. Our approach emphasizes transparency, ethical care, and raising puppies for family companionship.

Why did you start breeding?
We chose to begin breeding simply because we love the pug breed and desire to bless other families with well‑raised, loved puppies. While this is our first time breeding pugs, we are experienced animal owners with a farm full of animals that we care for daily.
What makes your program special?
Despite common misconceptions, pugs are capable and adventurous companions. Our first pug joined us on mountain hikes, beach rock climbing, lake boat rides, and long road trips—loving every minute of it. That same spirit lives on in our current breeding pair. Maisy is the ultimate cuddle companion, while Bandit is always ready—rain or shine—for a run, playtime, or adventure, never missing a beat.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are fawn. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

Getting a puppy from Amber

Amber has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $200 non-refundable deposit and between $800 - $1,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Included in the puppy price for all puppies prior to going home: - Will be seen by our veterinarian for a full health check - Their first Parvo vaccination - 1st round of Deworming. Our non-refundable deposit reserves your puppy and allows us to cover veterinary visits, vaccinations, and proper care while ensuring that families who are truly ready for a puppy are prioritized.”

Contract & health guarantee

Amber may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Maisy has a calm, nurturing, and protective temperament. She is exceptional with children and people of all ages, and her gentle, intuitive nature—especially with our youngest child—is what inspired us to explore breeding her. She truly embodies the loving, devoted companion pugs are known for.
