I'm Pam R., the breeder behind Sweetgrass Ranch located in El Dorado Springs, MO. We are a very select and small breeding program. We have a maximum of one litter per year from health and genetic tested parents.

We have breed and trained AKC dogs for many years and enjoy the rewards of bringing quality dogs to responsible owners. We breed to maintain the standard of the breed for show, hunting, and service.What makes your program special?

Pam has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

von Willebrand Disease I (vWD I), GM2 Gangliosidosis, Poodle Type, PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
