I'm Katie D., the breeder behind Sweetwater Belgian Laekenois located in Piedmont, AL. When we bring a life into the world, we take that responsibility seriously and do everything we can to make sure it gets the best start possible. Additionally, any pup or dog from our program is a part of our pack for life, and we will always have a home for them here if they need it.

Why did you start breeding?
Where do your breeding dogs live?

Katie has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

“Puppies will go home microchipped, current on vaccines, dewormed/clear fecal exam, AKC registered, and a health guarantee. Every puppy begins potty training, crate training, and basic obedience.”
Katie may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Katie offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don't hesitate to reach out to Katie directly.
When you pay and communicate on Good Dog, you’re covered by Payment Protection.
You can drive or fly to pick up your puppy from Katie.

Katie D.
Hello friends! I’ve had a big uptick in applications recently and I wanted to post an update to say: please be patient. When litter plans are solidified, I will start reaching out to everyone. No response yet does not mean I don’t want to talk Laekenois with you. Thank you! 🐾
