I'm Regan S., the breeder behind Swezey Pembroke Welsh Corgis located in Brighton, CO. We breed both Pembroke Welsh Corgis and “American” Corgis, AKC and ACA. Our corgis are bred for optimum temperament and personality. We breed happy, healthy, sociable corgis.
Q. & A. with Regan
Why did you start breeding?
We have bred and owned Pembroke Welsh Corgis for over 9 years. Prior to that, our family bred show quality champion Dobermans.
What makes your program special?
We are extremely hands-on with our puppies. Each puppy is treated special and is socialized. They have access to new people and dogs. They spend at least 10 weeks with both parents in order to gain socialization skills. We only breed the best. Included with each puppy is a lifetime of free boarding!
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Pembroke Welsh Corgi puppies include red, sable, blue, and black and tan. American Corgi puppies include fawn merle, red and white, black and tan, and blue merle and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

We’ve decided to call the puppies Alder, Elm, Dandelion & Juniper! Their grandmother’s name is Daffodil, which is the national flower of Wales (where corgis originate), so we decided to honor her by choosing names of flora and fauna found in Wales! Of course, puppy buyers can change the call names if they like, but having names for them while they’re with us helps with record keeping, veterinary stuff, and behavior training!

Regan was very responsive and friendly. She answered my questions about the puppy and offered a meet and greet. I met Suki and knew she’d be a perfect fit for my fur baby family. She and my other corgi get along great and play with each other every day. Suki is an absolute sweetheart. My experience with Regan was great!
