Swift Creek Cocker Spaniels meets or exceeds our community standards in these areas:

The after-dinner puppy parade has officially begun. Tiny bellies full. Tiny legs activated. Chaos level: maximum. One puppy stopped to sniff a leaf for 5 business days. Another discovered his own leash and declared war on it. Meanwhile, the “good puppy” of the group somehow disappeared into a bush for absolutely no reason. Neighborhood security patrol: complete. Calories burned: questionable. Cuteness overload: confirmed. 🐶🌙

Puzzle time was a serious business today. 🧩🐶 At first, the puppies acted like tiny detectives… sniffing every corner, flipping pieces with their noses, and giving us the “we totally know what we’re doing” look. Five minutes later? One puppy solved the puzzle like a genius, one tried to eat the puzzle itself, and another just sat there waiting for the “participation treat.” 😂 Training treats were distributed accordingly: 🏆 Smartest puppy: extra snack 🎭 Funniest puppy: extra snack 😴 Puppy doing absolutely nothing: somehow… also extra snack Safe to say the puppies believe every game ends with treats, applause, and unlimited employee benefits. 🐾

This morning, the puppies decided it was time to take their humans out for a walk. Mommy and Daddy were escorted (very professionally, of course) around the yard—peaceful, calm… and suspiciously puppy-free for once. The parents looked like they finally got a well-deserved break… until they realized they were being supervised the entire time. 🐾 Meanwhile, Cocker Spaniel CEO Ellie’s crew debuted their leash skills—and let’s just say… they didn’t walk, they paraded. Little paws, big confidence. No zig-zags, no drama—just pure “look at us, we’re professionals now” energy. We’re pretty sure they think they’re ready to start charging for dog walking services. Applications open soon… treats required as payment. 🍖

Ellie’s puppies had their official backyard debut today… and let’s just say, they took their new job very seriously. As soon as their tiny paws hit the grass, the whole squad switched into “neighborhood watch mode”—tails up, noses down, waddling around like little security guards on duty. 🕵️♂️🐾 With Mommy Ellie leading the patrol, they carefully inspected every inch of the yard… 🌿 suspicious leaf? investigated. 🐜 random bug? questioned thoroughly. 🍃 blowing grass? clearly a high-level threat. Meanwhile, their “calm” demeanor looked more like… slow-motion waddling with intense focus 😂 Ellie was doing her rounds like a pro, while the puppies followed behind in formation like a tiny, fluffy SWAT team—occasionally getting distracted, tripping over their own feet, or forgetting the mission entirely to chew on a stick. All in all, the backyard has officially been declared… “secured by the tiniest patrol unit in town.” 🐶🚔

Ellie’s puppies have officially declared “Mommy vs. Everyone” Tug-of-War Championship Day 🏆🐾 Ellie: “Okay kids, gentle play time…” Puppies: “ABSOLUTELY NOT.” One brave pup grabs a toy… then another… then suddenly it’s a full-on puppy pile-up like a tiny furry tornado 🌪️ Meanwhile, Ellie is just standing there like: “I gave birth to ALL of you… and this is the respect I get?” 😂 You’ve got: • One pup hanging on like it’s a life mission • One spinning in circles because they forgot to let go • One just barking instructions like a coach who isn’t even playing • And that one sneaky pup who abandons the game… just to chew on mommy’s ear 🤦♂️ Final result: Ellie wins by patience. Puppies win by chaos. House loses completely. Welcome to puppyhood at its finest 😆

We made a major menu upgrade today… and let’s just say… the entire household has completely lost all manners 😂 Out went the polite boiled chicken breast… In came the royal feast: cooked ground beef with white & purple cabbage, carrots, and red bell pepper 👑🥩🥬🥕 The moment the bowls hit the floor— 🐶 Puppies: activated vacuum mode Noses? Gone. Mouths? Disappeared. Entire faces? Fully submerged like they were searching for buried treasure at the bottom of the bowl. It honestly looked like we glued their faces in place. No blinking. No breathing. Just intense, life-or-death beef commitment. Meanwhile… Mom, Dad, and little Milo were like: “Excuse me, we were told this is a FAMILY meal… why are the kids getting first dibs?!” Within seconds: • Puppies = head-first diving contest champions 🏆 • Adults = zero dignity, full participation • Milo = personal mission to check EVERY bowl for “quality control” At one point I’m pretty sure I heard someone growl… and I’m not convinced it was a dog.

Ellie’s puppies had a major life milestone today… We took them all the way to the front door—aka their first official glimpse of the outside world. 🌎 Reactions included: * One brave explorer: “I was born for this.” ** Two confused potatoes: “Why is the air… moving?” *** One dramatic soul: “Take me back inside immediately.” **** And the rest: collective sniffing committee in session No passports, no bags packed, but they’re already acting like seasoned travelers. Next stop… the front yard (maybe 😄).

Puppy nap time… also known as our only legally allowed break of the day. 😂 The chaos suddenly shuts off, the tiny tornadoes turn into angels, and for a brief, beautiful moment, the house is quiet. This is when we eat, clean, breathe, and question all our life choices… until one little eye opens and it’s game over again. 🐶💤

“Third time on the trail… and they’re already acting like pros! 🌿🐶” “Trail Day #3 and confidence is through the roof! These pups are loving the outdoors 🐾” “Third adventure out… and they know exactly what to do — explore EVERYTHING!”

Cleaning day at Swift Creek… 🧼🐶 After enjoying some beautiful weather and playtime outside, the puppies came in, had their meal, and… completely crashed 😴💤 All lined up by the fireplace like tiny batteries recharging 🔋🐾 — not a single one left awake! These are the moments we love most… calm, quiet, and full of sweetness before the next round of zoomies begins 😄 They’re growing fast and showing such loving, gentle personalities already 💕 📍 Located in Midlothian, VA 📩 Message us to learn more or schedule a visit (in-person or Zoom!)

Eddie was absolutely amazing to work with. He was responsive, knowledgeable, and one of the kindest people me and my family have ever met. Our new addition to the family, Louie, has been so prepared by Eddie and is such a sweet guy. I would endlessly recommend Eddie if you are looking for a new cocker spaniel puppy, and we are so grateful for all he has done for us!

Eddie and his wife were absolutely wonderful to work with. We arranged a time to go meet available puppies and our Archie just happened to still be available. We instantly clicked and like Eddie said, “Archie chose us”. We were absolutely impressed by everything they had already taken care of for Archie, from initial puppy well checks, to deworming, and first rounds of immunizations. Archie was already able to sit and wait! He has brought our family so much joy already and we are absolutely smitten by our sweet boy. We are so thankful we found Eddie and for their dedication to the breed. We came home with so many supplies- including everything you could possibly need to make the transition easy and seamless! If you are searching for your forever English Cocker Spaniel, look no further!

Just got our little boy Tennyson from Eddie yesterday morning and we are already so in love with this sweet pup and his great temperament! Eddie was so wonderful to work with, quick responses, available for questions, sent us lots of videos and pictures. And best of all he provided a wonderful puppy care package that made transitioning our puppy from his home to our so so much easier! If you are looking to own a cocker spaniel for the first time, Eddie will provide you with everything you need!

A wonderful encounter with Eddie and his wife. They are passionate people, not just breeders. Each puppy receives their full attention, each puppy is priced carefully and lovingly, and they provide quality, varied food for a good start. Eddie is fantastic at following up on your puppy with photos and videos, and he responds quickly to your inquiries. Thank you, Eddie!

Eddie was very responsive from the moment we messaged him about Charli. We immediately reserved him and arranged a date to get him. During that time, we received videos and photos of Charli that helped us confirm he would be a great fit. I flew several hours to pick him up and instead of having to stop and get supplies for the road trip back, Eddie gave us everything we needed in a kit, including a carrier for the trip back. That was extremely helpful. You could tell that they really love and care for their animals. We love Charli from the moment we saw him and has been a blessing for us all.
