Puppy nap time… also known as our only legally allowed break of the day. 😂 The chaos suddenly shuts off, the tiny tornadoes turn into angels, and for a brief, beautiful moment, the house is quiet. This is when we eat, clean, breathe, and question all our life choices… until one little eye opens and it’s game over again. 🐶💤

“Third time on the trail… and they’re already acting like pros! 🌿🐶” “Trail Day #3 and confidence is through the roof! These pups are loving the outdoors 🐾” “Third adventure out… and they know exactly what to do — explore EVERYTHING!”

Cleaning day at Swift Creek… 🧼🐶 After enjoying some beautiful weather and playtime outside, the puppies came in, had their meal, and… completely crashed 😴💤 All lined up by the fireplace like tiny batteries recharging 🔋🐾 — not a single one left awake! These are the moments we love most… calm, quiet, and full of sweetness before the next round of zoomies begins 😄 They’re growing fast and showing such loving, gentle personalities already 💕 📍 Located in Midlothian, VA 📩 Message us to learn more or schedule a visit (in-person or Zoom!)

Looks like absolute backyard chaos—in the best way possible 😄 Those little explorers are loving the sunshine! You’ve got: One brave pup carrying a “treasure” like it just conquered the yard 🏆 A few climbing all over you like you’re a jungle gym 😂 And that one on its back getting belly rubs like it owns the place The black & white coats with those speckled noses are adorable—super classic and eye-catching. And the way they’re all interacting? That’s perfect early socialization right there—confident, curious, and full of personality. Here’s a fun caption you can use: “Sun’s out, chaos activated ☀️🐾 Backyard = playground, human = climbing structure, and everything is a toy 😂”

Puppy Update 🐾☀️ This was actually their third time going out to the backyard… but you’d think it was their first taste of freedom 😂 After all the cold weather, rain, and storms keeping them inside, today felt like a full-on puppy festival. At first they stepped out like: 👀 “Oh… we’ve seen this before…” Then suddenly— 🏃♂️💨 “WAIT… THIS IS AMAZING AGAIN!!!” Most of them were incredibly brave (or just fearless little goofballs 😅), taking on hurdles, hopping down the staircase like pros, and zooming around like they just unlocked a new level in life. A couple paused for dramatic effect like: 🤔 “Yes… I remember this land… I am one with nature now.” Meanwhile the rest? Pure chaos. Zero thoughts. Just vibes. 🌪️🐶💨 Even though it’s their third time, they ran around like free souls on their first day out of puppy prison, ears flying, tails wagging, living their absolute best lives. Backyard = officially their favorite place now. Nap time loading… 😴

After the lunchtime storm passed, all the puppies had their bellies full and hearts content 🐶💕 Now they’re all tucked in for a cozy nap, and the house has finally gone quiet… A rare and peaceful moment for us to catch our breath and enjoy a little break ☕✨ These calm moments don’t last long—but we sure cherish them when they do 😊

Maddie’s Puppies – Today’s Lunch Menu Update Today’s special lunch menu for Maddie’s puppies included fresh beef with sliced cabbage and carrots. The puppies enjoyed a nutritious mid-day meal packed with natural protein and vitamins. Their regular breakfast and dinner consist of high-quality kibble, along with fresh apple and carrot slices as healthy supplements. We also rotate their protein source with broiled chicken breast, and occasionally add steamed Murakami sweet potatoes as a wholesome carbohydrate source rich in fiber and nutrients. Providing a balanced combination of premium kibble and fresh foods helps ensure the puppies receive the nutrients needed to support their rapid growth, strong immune systems, and healthy development. We always strive to give our puppies the best possible start in life by introducing them to a variety of wholesome foods early on. — Eddie Swift Creek Cocker Spaniels 🐶

The Maddie puppies had a great time outside today! We took them out to explore the trails and begin learning how to walk together as a group. At this stage, the goal is simply to help them build confidence, experience new environments, and get comfortable moving around outside. Once they become more comfortable walking longer distances, we will begin introducing basic leash training so they can start learning how to walk politely on a leash. They are doing wonderful so far and are becoming more curious and adventurous every day.

Good afternoon! Maddie’s puppies had their veterinary appointment on Friday, March 6, 2026. During the visit, each puppy received a full health examination as well as their first DHPP vaccination. I’m happy to report that all of the puppies passed their exams with great results and are doing very well. At this time, everything looks excellent, and they are all healthy and thriving. We are currently waiting to schedule their appointment for the second round of vaccinations, which will take place before they go to their forever homes. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions. We truly appreciate your continued interest in the puppies! Warm regards, Eddie Swift Creek Cocker Spaniels

A wonderful encounter with Eddie and his wife. They are passionate people, not just breeders. Each puppy receives their full attention, each puppy is priced carefully and lovingly, and they provide quality, varied food for a good start. Eddie is fantastic at following up on your puppy with photos and videos, and he responds quickly to your inquiries. Thank you, Eddie!

Eddie was very responsive from the moment we messaged him about Charli. We immediately reserved him and arranged a date to get him. During that time, we received videos and photos of Charli that helped us confirm he would be a great fit. I flew several hours to pick him up and instead of having to stop and get supplies for the road trip back, Eddie gave us everything we needed in a kit, including a carrier for the trip back. That was extremely helpful. You could tell that they really love and care for their animals. We love Charli from the moment we saw him and has been a blessing for us all.

We recently welcomed our new puppy, Sophie, from Swift Creek Cocker Spaniels, and the experience was outstanding. Having had seven dogs over nearly 40 years, we can confidently say this was the most professional and positive breeder experience we’ve ever had. Eddie and his wife clearly raise their Cocker Spaniels as a true labor of love. Their use of the Good Dog platform provided added peace of mind and ensured a smooth, legitimate process for everyone involved. They are deeply committed to the health and well-being of their dogs, with excellent veterinary care and a carefully managed, high-quality diet. For Sophie’s safety, we were not able to meet her until she reached an appropriate age, which we appreciated as a sign of their responsible practices. When we picked her up, Eddie and his wife went above and beyond — providing a generous puppy starter kit and completing the AKC registration transfer on the spot. We highly recommend Swift Creek Cocker Spaniels to anyone looking for a healthy, well-loved puppy and a truly professional breeding experience.

Eddie and his wife were absolutely wonderful to work with. We arranged a time to go meet available puppies and our Archie just happened to still be available. We instantly clicked and like Eddie said, “Archie chose us”. We were absolutely impressed by everything they had already taken care of for Archie, from initial puppy well checks, to deworming, and first rounds of immunizations. Archie was already able to sit and wait! He has brought our family so much joy already and we are absolutely smitten by our sweet boy. We are so thankful we found Eddie and for their dedication to the breed. We came home with so many supplies- including everything you could possibly need to make the transition easy and seamless! If you are searching for your forever English Cocker Spaniel, look no further!

The moment Eddie reached out to me, I was sold on him and his puppies. He answered all of my questions, after some qualifying questions of his own. He wants to be assured that his puppies are going to a special and loving home! After discussing each puppies personalities, I decided on Max……..I loved his face, and Eddie thought that he would be a good fit. The real assurance came when I took delivery of my Max…….you can witness the love and personal care, each and every puppies receives……they are so attached to each and every puppy, you could see some sadness in their face when I left with Max! The transfer of ownership, microchip update, and all paperwork was organized and ready to go. When you receive the “puppy package” that Eddie provides, be prepared to be impressed with all the food, goodies, and necessary items that you will need!! Eddie and Swift Creek Cocker Spaniels are a fine example of a top notch breeder and loving environment to raise them in……..Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
