I'm Anna G., the breeder behind Syrius Dog located in Summit Point, WV. At Syrius Labradors we aim to raise healthy and well adjusted puppies. We raise all our puppies in our home with a lot of personal 1 on 1 attention daily. They are part of our daily life, and get all sorts of socialization and enrichment. We do all we can to give them the best start possible.
Q. & A. with Anna
Why did you start breeding?
Having owned several amazing dogs over the years, a trainer often thinks of reproducing the qualities they love about their dogs. Breeding has been a natural progression in my life with dogs.
What makes your program special?
We aren't about the numbers, we are about the quality of the dogs we produce. From genetics chosen to whelping and rearing, it all plays a role. I think having a background in dog training gives me insight into some common behavior and health trends in dog breeds and breeding practices. I aim to help our pups get the best start possible to become sound, stable, healthy dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black and chocolate. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
