Meet the breeder

I'm Kristin C., the breeder behind Tag Hollow located in Middleton, NH. We’ve spent most of our lives showing and breeding Labradors and we are committed to ensuring the future of the breed is healthy. Our main goal is that our dogs exemplify the AKC standard and can be readily trained to fill various roles; such as a companion, a family member, a hiking partner, a hunting asset, an agility enthusiast, a service or therapy animal. We strive to breed dogs that will excel with the proper training.

Q. & A. with Kristin

  • Why did you start breeding?

I was in 5th grade my mother considered the idea of starting to breed dogs, she researched what breed would be the best fit for our family and decided it was Labs. When I was in 6th grade we brought home our matriarch, Jenna, a lovely purebred chocolate lab. We started her in obedience, and it turned out that she was more readily entertained in training by me, so I became the handler for our dogs.
  • What makes your program special?

I have been breeding Labs most of my life and dipped my toe in such a diversity of dog care and sports. There is very little that I know more than I know about my dogs and dog care. I’ve worked with vets, attended vet school, worked with groomers, handled as an AKC junior handler, gone away to 4H dog camp, trained obedience, agility, confirmation, rally, prepped dogs for trails. My life revolves around this breed.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include black, chocolate, and yellow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

I am so grateful to Kristin at Tag Hollow for bringing Greta Lilac into our life. She is adapting very well to her new home. Kristin was so responsive and helpful during the entire adoption process. Greta, our new yellow lab puppy got a "perfect" assessment from our vet. I am so happy. Thank you Kristin, for everything!
