Tahoma Sunrise

Sylvia W.

Breeder of Labrador Retrievers

Meet the breeder

I'm Sylvia W., the breeder behind Tahoma Sunrise located in Astoria, OR. We breed AKC Chocolate Labrador Retrievers for health, intelligence, and excellent temperaments. Our dogs are adored! Our pups come from champion field trialing lines and have great personalities as family pets or duck hunters. We love helping people find the perfect new addition to their families and we’re proud of our reputation as reliable breeders.

Q. & A. with Sylvia

  • Why did you start breeding?

I had helped with raising litters with Forest Lake Labradors for over 10 years. We had a stud dog that was purchased out of Minnesota. Several years ago a male came up for sale near me that was related to him. When I met him, I knew I needed to purchase him. With his breeding and temperament, I further decided to find a suitable female for breeding.
  • What makes your program special?

My breeding program is small, specific and tailored.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are chocolate. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
