I'm Brandyn L., the breeder behind Tails of Grace located in Indianapolis, IN. Our Breeding Philosophy: Purpose Over Profit We believe breeding Yorkshire Terriers is a responsibility, not a hobby or trend. Every litter we plan is guided by one goal: giving each puppy the strongest, healthiest start to life possible. What this means to us: ✔️ Health-tested parents ✔️ Careful pairing for temperament & structure ✔️ Limited, intentional litters ✔️ Around-the-clock newborn care ✔️ Clean, calm, enriched environments Newborn Yorkies are fragile. They require constant monitoring, warmth, nutrition, and hands-on support, especially in the earliest days. We do not rush this process or cut corners. Breeding ethically means doing what’s best for the puppies, even when it requires sleepless nights and hard decisions. We’re proud of how our puppies are raised and we’re always happy to educate those who want to learn.

A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
