Vet Wellness Exam
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
DNA Disease Panel, PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

Jasmine was very responsive to my questions and several phone calls. She delivered two puppies to my house to look at. I was only going to take one, but ended up taking two because I couldn’t decide which one I liked best. I haven’t had a puppy in a long time, so two of them was a challenge as well as a blast to watch. Then my friend Lori called and, like me, had recently lost a favorite dog. I recommended Jasmine, and she took another of Jasmine’s puppies. Then another friend wanted one so I recommended Jasmine to her as well. We’ve all decided that we need to have family reunions to get the littermates together. My puppies are sweet and loving. Thanks, Jasmine!
