Breeder of Cocker Spaniels

Meet the breeder

I'm Ann E., the breeder behind Tauntre American Cocker Spaniels located in Baton Rouge, LA. Hello, I'm Ann of Tauntre American Cocker Spaniels, our AKC Registered puppies come from champion parents with OFA certified eyes and hips. We strive to breed happy, healthy puppies that meet breed specifications to give prospective show homes and pet homes the best placement for the perfect fit.

Q. & A. with Ann

  • Why did you start breeding?

I've owned cocker spaniels since I was 16 years old & had the good fortune to be mentored by a show breeder who taught me about conformation, breeding, grooming and raising puppies. I worked as a vet tech for short amount of time in college and people began asking me to whelp their litters. I enjoyed it so much that when I started working from home I began my breeding program.
  • What makes your program special?

Puppies are kept and raised in the house and provided proper stimulation for development. We do Early Neurological Stimulation program to help them develop their immune system and stress tolerances.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include brown, red, red and white, buff, black and tan, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.
