  • Why did you start breeding?

    My life has always centered around animals. I was very active in rescue for many years, and I believe strongly in both responsible breeding and responsible rescue. I strive to produce the best puppies possible and am always working to improve my program. Many of our puppy families say people stop them on the street just to compliment how gorgeous their dogs are!

  • What makes your program special?

    If you’re looking for a dachshund with exceptional beauty and type, you’ve come to the right place. Our foundation dogs were imported from overseas and are known for their beautiful coats and longer ears. I spend countless hours researching pedigrees and carefully planning each pairing, always striving to improve my program. This is truly my passion, not just a business.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies have longhaired coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include piebald, sable, cream, red, brindle, chocolate and cream, black and cream, chocolate and tan, black and tan, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and guardian homes.

Getting a puppy from Jennifer

Jennifer has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Jennifer partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,500 - $4,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Pet only, no breeding rights. We offer a discount for repeat buyers or if you purchase two puppies at once. We also offer retired dogs at a lower price. We do not export out of the USA at this time. ”

Jennifer may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.     We did significant research into mini dachshund breeders and kept seeing Jennifer’s name everywhere. From our first call it was clear we could not go to anyone else. We fell in love with our little Bean (formerly known as Tosca) the moment we laid eyes on her over FaceTime. Jennifer was amazing throughout the process - she was a great and responsive communicator, including sending us nearly daily videos and pictures, and guided us through the entire process (including organizing travel to NYC) seamlessly. She also so clearly loves and cares for her dogs! We have had a great first month with our Bean and strangers constantly rave about how beautiful and well behaved she is.     Wow! Where do I begin! I started following Jennifer on her social media platforms long before we were looking. I knew if I did another dachshund (we’ve had 2), that he/she had to come from Taylored Dachshunds! It was easy to see thru Jennifer’s postings that she loves her dogs and takes great care in both breeding them and raising them! After our shorthair died in April, I did not think I could do another one. Slowly watching all these adorable puppies be born, I knew maybe I could. Along came Alfredo! I started communicating with Jennifer about my preferences and she kept me inform of litters and the potential color of the litters. Our baby was born on 9/19 and it was love from the first picture. Throughout the next 8 weeks of Alfredo’s life, Jennifer would send multiple pictures and videos of our baby! I felt a bond without even touching my new puppy. Jennifer was very helpful in information, advice and arranging his flight with her flight nanny! All went fantastic and smooth. We will definitely consider a sibling for Alfredo in the next year. Without hesitation, I would highly recommend Jennifer!

    I found Jennifer on TickTock first, then Instagram. Her videos kept my broken heart lighter because of her cute content and cuter subjects. I had lost my heart dog, Trixie a few months prior to finding Jennifer. Together, we found the perfect baby for us to adopt. Jennifer kept in contact with pictures and videos of Paisley every other day, and was available by phone or text any time I had any questions or concerns. When we picked up our little angel, Jennifer had a welcome gifts that completely took us by surprise. She also was kind enough to send us a letter that included her recommendations for a playpen, car seat as well as other necessities that we hadn’t even thought of! Paisley has been a welcome addition to our household and has had zero accidents in the week that we’ve had her home. She potties on the pads that we’ve put out for her. I don’t know if this is typical of Jennifer’s puppies, but we’ve certainly been pleasantly surprised! Paisley has brought laughter back to our home, and most of that is due to Jennifer’s diligence in her breeding and socializing these wonderful animals!
