Teresa R.

Breeder of Doberman Pinschers

Meet the breeder

I'm Teresa R., the breeder behind TeatreeDoberman located in Guyton, GA. Our dogs are bred to have top qualities that all families want in their puppies. While our goal is to share loving puppies with families, we are still a selective program. We only breed when we’re sure we can produce the healthiest and best example of the breed specific standard. OFA registration.

Q. & A. with Teresa

  • Why did you start breeding?

Initially breeding wasn’t on the table. I want to breed to ensure a continuous improvement in the Doberman breed. My two Doberman companions are also a part of Kansas State University Canine Biology & Research team to assist in collecting as much data for purposes of preserving the breed. Purpose bred Dobermans can perform specific skill sets to improve humans' lives, titled in a specific area of enrichment skills or simply be your best friend.
  • What makes your program special?

Any individual that applies is vetted. My motto is the more questions you have for me the better! It gives me a foundation of the person/home life that my puppies will have. I only breed her once a year pending annual health checks. I also have a very detailed contract that allows me the privilege of placing my puppies with their forever homes through questionnaires, phone conversations, etc.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include black and rust and red and rust. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
