Meet the breeder

I'm Elise K., the breeder behind Teddy Puppies located in Canton, GA. We raise mini & medium-sized multigen Goldendoodles and Bernedoodles with a focus on health and socialization with children. Our dogs are intelligent, playful, and excellent family pets. They are bred to ensure minimal shedding. We know our puppies will bring lasting joy and love into your homes.

Q. & A. with Elise

  • Why did you start breeding?

I've always loved dogs and grew up with them. I enjoy training and researching about them and fell head over heels for doodles. What's not to love about their "teddy" like appearance, intelligence, cleanliness, and gentle nature!? I am also a clean freak, so the minimal shedding is something I love.
  • What makes your program special?

Our dogs are treated like children. They are beloved family members and we (and our hand-picked guardian families) spend time training and socializing them. We also believe that happy pups are healthy pups! We guarantee that our pups are perfectly healthy and do have not have any genetic predispositions to any known health issues. Our priority is quality over quantity and our puppies are placed in loving homes that have been reviewed carefully. I have over 100+ 5-star reviews on Google, so if you want to hear what others say about me, check those out. https://www.teddypuppies.com/testimonials
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies include petite, miniature, and medium sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include cream, apricot, red, chocolate, phantom, merle, and parti. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.

We could not have been happier to work with Elise! She made it easy & friendly from the very first day. She still checked up on Cookie, even weeks after we got her. You can tell Elise takes good care of her puppies & loves them very much! We 10/10 recommend Teddy Puppies!

I had contacted several breeders as I was looking for a mini Goldendoodle after losing my Golden Retreiver. One breeder, Mini Goldendoodle of Georgia didn’t even express empathy for my loss. I wanted a female puppy and they tried to talk me into a male. I was SO discouraged about breeders since I had rescue dogs before. Then I read about Elise. She contacted me immediately and was incredibly compassionate about the loss of my previous dog. It was obvious that this was not just a business for her, but a passion; her sincere love of dogs just shined through. We met several days later, she showed me two adorable puppies and I chose my sweet Bella. Elise was so accommodating to my every need. She paid attention to detail and her communication was timely and clear. Elise is so sweet and very knowledgeable. She offers a wealth of advice and information not only when you purchase your puppy, but forever! She even contacted me after Bella’s first night with us just to see how everything went. Elise is a kind, caring individual who loves her puppies and puts forth great effort to be sure both her puppies and their new families are happy. I highly recommend Teddy Puppies! I love my puppy; she is also a very beautiful, smart pup!

Elise was fantastic to work with. We recently lost our 13 year old doodle and were hesitant to begin again with a puppy, but she helped me find the perfect personality match for our family. Our new guy has a great head start on training and socialization and is on a good schedule. It’s obvious her doodles are very well loved and cared for! I highly recommend Teddy Puppies and Elise!
