Q. & A. with Teena

  • Why did you start breeding?

I started with my male Yorkie, a tiny toy/teacup boy who quickly became my baby. After moving to the country, I wanted him to have a companion, so I got my female. At first they didn’t get along at all, then almost overnight it was like a light switch flipped and they became inseparable. Watching their bond grow naturally led me into breeding and raising Yorkies with the same love and care they receive every day.
  • What makes your program special?

My Yorkies are family first and treated as such. They are raised on 2 acres in the country with plenty of room to run, play, and be socialized from day one. I also kept two puppies from my first litter, and they absolutely love helping interact and play with the new babies. I focus on raising happy, loved, well-socialized puppies in a home environment, not a kennel setting.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
