We are a small, family-run hobby breeder specializing in Miniature Dachshunds and Mini Yorkies, focused on quality care, responsible breeding, and raising healthy, well-socialized puppies for loving forever homes.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I have had the pleasure of raising several animals, but these breeds have brought me so much love and companionship that I want to share that love with others. So, my husband (Mark), my daughter (Lyssa), my oldest son (Billy) and myself decided to create Teeny Tiny Puppy Tails to be able to share with other families what we have experienced with these 2 specific breeds.

  • What makes your program special?

    Our puppies are treated with love and caring from the new puppies to our breeding pairs. They are kept in house and from day one very well socialized with kids and other animals. When you chose a pup from us you will get an experience no other kennel offers. We will send you photos, videos, and even facetime as often as you like, so you don't miss any part of your puppy's growing experience.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Dachshund puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Dachshund puppies include wirehaired and longhaired coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Dachshund puppies include chocolate and cream, black and cream, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Karen

Karen has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Karen partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Puppy prices include a $200 non-refundable deposit and between $1,800 - $2,200 final payment, before taxes & fees.

"You will get registration application, first shots completed, vet check and shot records. Dewormed. All of our Puppies will be of good health and well socialized with other animals, children. NO DEPOSIT REQUIRED!! Unless you desire to reserve a puppy for future pickup. Otherwise once they are ready to start their new adventures with their new family it would be first come first served."

    Karen made the experience of adopting Piper Ann amazing always responded to every question sending pictures even FaceTiming us with Piper every week . She even let us know that Piper ended up not being a long haired and asked is we still wanted her she very honest and of course we still wanted her .     I was searching for an orange sable female pomeranian to adopt after losing my 15 year old sable girl to heart disease. I stumbled across Marcia (Karen had named her Ginger) and knew she was the one. I contacted Karen and she did a facetime call with me so I could formally meet Marcia as we were 4 states away. She was the one! Five weeks later, after nearly daily updates on Marcia's weight, progress and personality development, I flew to Louisville and brought Marcia home. Karen had started calling her Marcia as soon as I decided on her and named her so she actually already knew her name! Karen has a daughter who loves all the puppies and helps socialize them. I could tell Marcia loved her back. If you are on the fence, jump over it - Karen is a very responsible breeder and a pleasure to deal with.

    Our experience adopting with Karen was wonderful! She was very responsive and let us video call with our little Cosmo right away and answered all of our many questions and was very knowledgeable. She was flexible with the whole process and met us halfway for pickup and provided support afterwards by answering our questions and checking in about how everything was going.     Karen is so responsive and accomodating. I knew I had a good breeder (fur baby mom) with my first encounter. She kept us updated with pics and messages while we awaited our bundle of joy and energy. Our sweet pup was so well adapted she took up with us and our other doxie, Sparky. She is high energy, very playful and so cute! My vet told me she knew a good breeder when she saw all that Karen had included. She also told me that my new puppy was very healthy and had very good lineage in her. I highly recommend Karen and her group.
