I'm Misti S., the breeder behind Ten Mile Aussies located in Foxworth, MS. We have owned and loved Australian Shepherds since 1996. We are dedicated to raising top quality miniature to standard size Australian Shepherds. We strive to produce happy, healthy dogs with correct confirmation and outstanding temperaments Our goal is to raise the perfect family companion.

What makes your program special?
We believe that one of the most important aspects of raising the perfect family companion is how well they are socialized. Each puppy born at TMA is very well socialized to give them the absolute best start to life as possible. We follow a modified version of Puppy Culture and BAB socialization curriculum. They are handled and loved on daily and exposed to all kinds of sights and sounds.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

About Frankie
Frankie is our up and coming stud from Parson's Place in Oklahoma. He is out of the much admired Parsons Rude Awakening (aka Rudy). He is a dream dog, with deep copper, a full coat, and a blocky head with a wide muzzle. He is expected to mature at around 14". He has the perfect temperament. He is very friendly, smart and biddable and learns new commands with ease. He truly aims to please. He is also laid back for an Aussie pup. We are excited to be able to offer some smaller pups out of such an exceptional stud. Look for Frankie and Skeeter pups in 2026.

Maggie is such a classy, affectionate little lady. She has an impressive pedigree that includes Sassy Lil, Timberline Leb Raah and more. She is 16.25” tall, has beautiful movement, a blocky, yet feminine head and a super full coat. She is medium energy.

Tripp is the happiest, friendliest dog, who never meets a stranger. He has a gorgeous blocky head, good bone and a super full coat. He is 17.5” His sire is Timberline Blue-eyed Buckaroo. He is medium energy. He is calm when it is “business as usual” but has bursts of super high energy.

I cannot say enough good things about this girl. She has an amazing pedigree that includes Freestyle and Fairoaks. She is the granddaughter of the famous Freestyle's Redneck Cruiser, and the great granddaughter of Hall of Fame Dam Jami Jo of Fairoaks. She is very smart, and has the most fun, loving personality ever. She is super friendly to everyone she meets. She is also very athletic and lmedium energy.

Georgie is such a happy little guy. He is also super smart and affectionate. He loves to be picked up and held. He is a little slow to warm up around strangers but once he knows you, he’s an absolute love bug. He comes to us from Steindoodles out of Georgia where he produced some amazing Aussiedoodles and Bernedoodles. He is medium energy.

+8I recently had the pleasure of purchasing a red tri minimal white female Mini Aussie, Lottie, from Misti at Ten Mile Aussies, and the experience has been fantastic from start to finish. I placed a deposit within the first week after the puppies were born, and Misti was wonderful about keeping me updated. She sent pictures regularly and shared details about Lottie's growth and personality, so I always felt connected and in the loop. When it came time for pickup day, Misti was flexible and accommodating with my schedule, making the process smooth and easy. It’s clear that she truly cares about her puppies and goes above and beyond for each of her clients. Even after Lottie came home, Misti has checked in several times to see how she’s doing. Lottie has been the perfect addition to our family. She’s incredibly smart, playful, and so well-mannered. Potty training was a breeze, and she immediately got along with our other dogs, a female Mini Aussie and a male Dalmatian—now they’re all best friends! I fell in love with my puppy when she was 3 days old. During the weeks of waiting for her to be old enough to come home I had a lot of interactions with Misti at Ten Mile Aussies. She was very happy to answer all my questions and sent many photos and videos to show my little girl growing up. I could see that there was a lot of love, interaction and socialization with the pups. When my pup came home she adjusted very quickly to her new home thanks to all the effort Misti put in with the pups to make the transition easier. Leela is a beautiful pup who is super smart with the sweetest temperament. We are already planning to get a second pup from Ten Mile Aussie so Leela can have a brother or sister!
