Terracotta Treasures Labradors

Cindy A.

Breeder of Labrador Retrievers

Meet the breeder

I'm Cindy A., the breeder behind Terracotta Treasures Labradors located in Mohnton, PA. Our goal in breeding is to produce the fox red shade of yellow lab puppies that will be a "treasure" to you and your family by having a calm temperament to be great companions in the home and community but also capable of excelling as sporting dogs (hunting, agility, tracking, etc.) if desired.

Q. & A. with Cindy

  • Why did you start breeding?

I have always loved and had Labs in my family, but when I first saw and fell in love with the fox red shade of yellow labs, I was having a hard time finding a breeder that offered the right temperament blend of calmness/activity level for me. I began researching pedigrees/temperaments and a few years later started my own breeding program with our first female lab Cayenne in 2015.
  • What makes your program special?

We make socialization a priority in our breeding program and provide experiences to prepare the pups for their new homes. We also encourage our puppies' families to keep in contact with us throughout their lifetime, are always available for any questions and have an annual reunion for all of the families for them to connect with us and with each other. They will always be part of our family!
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are yellow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.
