I'm Karla L., the breeder behind The Dach House located in Perris, CA. We are proud to offer our beautiful Dachshund puppies to loving homes! Our dogs are healthy and have great temperaments. Our dogs stole our hearts right from the start and we found ourselves wanting to get more involved. Breeding was a natural next step and we haven’t looked back since!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I have owned Dachshunds since I was 14, well over 23 years. I will always own a dachshund and have owned several. The next natural step in wanting to better the breed is to breed

  • What makes your program special?

    I am a small, in home breeder. My dogs are my pets first, they are loved and spoiled. They go on family vacations, outings and participate in dachshund events in our community. I strive on being an ethical breeder and take my dogs health into consideration when breeding.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies have longhaired coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include cream, chocolate, chocolate and cream, black and cream, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Karla

Karla has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Karla partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $3,500 - $4,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“AKC limited registration, deworming, first round of vaccinations, puppy socialization, puppy starter kit. Deposit is non refundable. Deposit can be transferred to another litter.”
