I'm Jon M., the breeder behind The Dachs of Hazzard Dachshunds located in Mocksville, NC. Our dogs are bred to have top qualities that all families want in their puppies, such as compassion, patience, and love! The sweet, loyal, and playful disposition of our dogs inspired us to begin responsibly breeding to expand the breed and share them with others.

    Our puppies include longhaired, wirehaired, and smooth coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include black, chocolate, blue and tan, chocolate and tan, black and tan, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Jon

Jon has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Jon partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Price

Puppy prices include a $200 non-refundable deposit and between $2,000 - $3,300 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“AKC registered with papers and full rights! 1st round of shots and vet checked and comes with the health check report card and a puppy pack! If they are old enough to leave I do not require a deposit, you can just come get it! 2 weeks after they are born if you see one you want I will require a $200 non refundable deposit to hold the puppy till it is 8 weeks old! If something happens and the puppy don't check out at the 6 week check up then I will return the deposit or get you another puppy!”

    Jon was a pleasure to work with. My husband and I are CDL Drivers so getting to learn about knowledge of the breed we were able to make our decision on a beautiful Dapple who we named Gideon.     From the beginning of the process Jon was very communicative and you could just tell he really cares about his dogs. He gave us weekly updates after placing our deposit and sent us so many videos and pictures! We also got a large care package that was sent home with our little girl. She will probably be set for at least a month or two. He really made this process very easy and enjoyable! Our little girl is settling in so well already and I think that’s a testament to how he raises his pups 😊
