I'm Misti S., the breeder behind The Dachshund Barn located in Hensley, AR. I spend all of my days caring for my dogs and puppies and I feel so blessed to do so. All of my dogs have large grassy areas to run and play whenever they want. They receive daily attention and treats often! They have raised beds to lounge on. Their comfort and happiness is very important to me.

Why did you start breeding?
I have always loved the breed. I got my first dachshund and just went head over heels for him! I added another but couldn't stop looking. I asked my husband what he thought about me raising them and he didn't say no. God gave me the idea and I give him all the credit.What makes your program special?
I take daily videos of my puppies from birth. You can watch your puppy grow and change every day! I also send weekly photos to you. Also, many of my clients send me updates often and birthday pictures. I always share them on my social media and all of my followers love seeing past Dachshund Barn puppies they watched grow from birth to 8 weeks!What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies include wirehaired, smooth, and longhaired coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include piebald, cream, red, brindle, chocolate and tan, chocolate and cream, black and tan, black and cream, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Misti has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Puppy prices include a $200 non-refundable deposit and between $1,800 - $3,300 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes deworming minimum of 4 times, age appropriate vaccines, health check with vet, prepaid microchip, puppy bag, 5 year health guarantee against life threatening congenital defects. I require a non-refundable $200 deposit to hold your puppy. Remaining balance is paid at pick up.”

Every thing went very well. Misti did a wonderful job getting Jana delivered to me. Jana is a very good puppy and is learning quickly and now every time I go bed,she comes up and sleeps with me.
