I'm Megan G., the breeder behind The Homestead at Little Creek located in Clayton, NC. We specialize in raising puppies that are ideal candidates for therapy and service work. With a focus on temperament, health, and early socialization, our puppies are raised using Puppy Culture practices. We offer puppies at 8 weeks or at 16 weeks with basic obedience training.
Q. & A. with Megan
Why did you start breeding?
My husband and I bought a property in 2019 that already had a kennel and we loved that I could raise our kids at home and provide the life that I had as a child. We find so much joy in our girls getting to raise the puppies and see them grow up.
What makes your program special?
Our puppy buyers become family. We often see our pups come back to visit and we love that!
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black, chocolate, and yellow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Megan was great and answered all my questions. I was given plenty of time to meet Rosie, get to know her, and ask all the questions I could think of. It was a great experience.
