I'm Micala K., the breeder behind The Kelley Crew located in Tallahassee, FL. At The Kelley Crew we strive to follow the Aussie breed standard to a "T". Our program goals are to bring a smaller (15-17") dog with moderate bone and coat. We don't breed for lavish show traits, but are more geared towards the functional working dog that can easily adapt to family life as well.

Why did you start breeding?
I got into breeding in 2018 when my fiancé and I bought our first girl, Ellie. We then got Sue and grew from there. Sadly, I lost my fiancé to cancer in 2020, but my love for what we started together only grew stronger. He lives on in all of my crew's names, which are based on films or music as he wanted to become a director and was a film nut. These dogs have evolved into so much more for me.What makes your program special?
Here at The Kelley Crew we strive for the perfect dog daily. Whether it is spent time studying potential pairings and genetics or training and working the dogs. The breed standard calls for a dog of moderation and that is my main goal. A dog of moderate coat and bone with wit and the eagerness to please. A dog that can go work when needed and then come home and relax with the family. A dog well rounded.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include blue merle, red merle, red, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Getting a puppy from Micala

Price
"Price includes registration, first puppy shots/wellness exam, FL health certificate, food sample, toy, slip leash, and lifetime support in any questions. We require a $250 nonrefundable deposit. Reason is to make up for time lost advertising if they change their mind. It's not fair to the little pup to miss out on a potential family!"

Josie is a doll. She is very low energy and mild mannered. She politely asks for affection and would lay near you all day. She has done well in her training, but prefers to be a couch potato with no responsibilities. Super affectionate and easy to get along with.

Eva is a boss girl who likes to get things done. Definitely a velcro dog, she's always eager to please her handler. With a bold and confident personality she has taken training in stride and does wonderful while out on the town. Extremely athletic, we hope to try out obedience and agility trials in the future!

About Sue
Sue is from miniature bloodlines, but ended up outgrowing the height by a little. He is a small standard at around 21" and 40lbs. He is the biggest goof and thinks he is the baby of the family and still loves to be held. Sue is just a great all around dog and has started barn hunt trials with great success. Very biddable and eager to please. One of my most consistent dogs.

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
