I'm Kayla L., the breeder behind The Luckie Puppy located in Smithville, GA. Our puppies are raised utilizing Avidogs principles.   • Why did you start breeding?

    We fell in love with the shih-tzu and shihpoo breeds and wanted to share our love of them with other families.

  • What makes your program special?

    We raise our puppies in our home and utilize Avidogs principles. Our puppies also go home with a microchip from FiNano, 30 days of insurance from Trupanion, a 1 year health guarantee, 2 sets of shots and a go home bag with their paperwork and goodies.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our Shihpoo puppies are mini size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our Shihpoo puppies include black gold and white, liver and white, gold and white, and black and white. Shih Tzu puppies include liver, blue, and brindle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Kayla

Kayla has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,300 - $2,300 final payment, before taxes & fees.

    Kayla is a true blessing. I just lost my two Shih Tzus within a 5 month timeframe and the most recent lost was just unbearable. I was searching for a breeder, and found Kayla who is an angel raising sweet pups. My boy Ernie is the best- healthy and happy boy. I’m so happy with the ease of the process and Kayla being responsive and willing to answer my questions and chat on the phone right away.
