Meet the breeder

I'm Delisse V., the breeder behind The Olympus Standard Poodle located in Spring Hills, FL. At The Olympus Standard Poodle, we breed with intention — raising puppies prepared for service work or life as amazing companions. With a focus on health, structure, and temperament, our puppies are socialized early and exposed to different environments, sounds, and people. We’re proud to help families and individuals find their perfect match, and nothing makes us happier than seeing our puppies thrive.

Q. & A. with Delisse

  • Why did you start breeding?

My love for dogs and early exposure to animal care naturally led me into breeding. Watching my mom’s dedication inspired me. As I learned more about genetics, temperament, and responsible breeding, I knew I wanted to raise dogs that truly make a difference in people’s lives.
  • What makes your program special?

Every pairing is intentional. I focus on health, temperament, and structure to produce loving companions and service dog prospects. Our puppies are raised in a home environment with early socialization, giving them a strong foundation to thrive in their future homes.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies include moyen and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include sable, apricot, black, blue, brown, cafe au lait, cream, red, gray, silver, silver-beige, white, parti, phantom, and brindle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Delisse

Delisse has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Delisse partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 7 weeks old.

"Each puppy is evaluated based on temperament, drive, recovery, and overall stability. Because my program focuses on producing service-quality dogs, temperament is the primary priority. Formal temperament evaluations are completed around 7 weeks of age, and the results are shared with each family. With that information, the client makes their selection based on their lifestyle, goals, and specific needs, with my guidance to help ensure the best long-term fit."

We had such a wonderful experience with Delisse. From the beginning she was kind, responsive, and cares so much about her puppies. Alba has been amazing since coming home with us. She adapted so quickly to our family, the kids absolutely love her, and she is incredibly smart. She’s already getting the hang of potty training so quickly and even sleeps through the whole night. We couldn’t be happier with her and are so grateful for the care and love she received before coming home to us. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a well raised puppy!

Could not be happier she is one of the most well bred standard poodle puppies I have ever seen the breeder was so kind and so supportive throughout the entire process they kept me updated as the puppies grew. She did so well for her first grooming, and I cannot wait to see the puppy she becomes.

We are so thankful for finding Delisse. A standard poodle is such a special breed and we absolutely love our puppy and watching her learn and grow everyday.

Delisse was great to work with. We love our girl Stormi Rex aka Rex. The temperament details was right on spot. Took my girl to the vet and received so many compliments on how well she has been taken care of and overall health. This makes me so happy that I got my furbaby from the best!

Delisse is a joy to work with. She helped pair our family up with the perfect puppy. She was spot on, when she described how our puppy’s temperament would be. We also loved that she checked in on how he’s doing, months after we took him home. Would definitely recommend Delisse and her dogs. Would definitely get another puppy in the future.
