Every puppy come w/health guarantee, AKC, microchipped, 2 vet visits, tails docked, dew claws removed, utd vac., etc. We are proud of the caliber of dogs our breeding program produces. Proper Pointers are genetically suited for any home whether it be for wild bird hunting, hunt tests or family pets.

Why did you start breeding?
Our journey into breeding began with a love for the German Shorthaired Pointer’s intelligence, versatility, and loyalty. Over time, we recognized the need for responsible, quality-focused breeders. What started as a passion for raising our own dogs became a commitment to preserving and improving the breed for families and hunters alike.What makes your program special?
Our breeding program is built on health, temperament, and performance. We carefully select bloodlines for balanced traits—ensuring each puppy thrives as both a family companion and working dog. With hands-on care, early training, and a focus on socialization, our dogs stand out for their confidence, versatility, and loving nature.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include liver roan, liver and white, black roan, and black and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

I have been so impressed with Kevin. The communication has been extremely easy. He sent me pictures as she got older and when I was unsure of coloring he took the time to do a video. She is one of the first dogs to attend their new puppy training school. He has sent me videos on her progress which is amazing. These basic training… sit, here, place, leash walking, crate training and potty training will make the transition to bringing her into our home way less stressful. Let’s be real we all have stressful first few weeks with a dog with potty accidents, training, and adjusting to their new home. I’m extremely happy this transition will be much easier.
