Meet the breeder

I'm Crystal & Justin L., the breeder behind The Pugarazzi located in Winter Haven, FL. Hello, thank you for stopping by and looking at our precious babies. My name is crystal and my husband is Justin. We’re big animal lovers and especially dog lovers. We love showing the pugs with AKC and producing quality healthy puppies since 2012. I call all my puppies my grand pups and I’m there nana.We always say “we belong to the dogs and we live in there house lol.” All of our babies are health tested and cleared and also are championed lined as we strive to produce the best companion for your family. We socialize from day one as we believe socializing is very important. All of our babies are raised in our home with us and we start training at 3 weeks of age and starting at 4 weeks we start letting them out with us to roam around as long as we can supervise them. None of our babies are raised in crates or cages. We spend a lot of time with all of our grandpups. Im a akc show breeder.

Breeder-Reported Testing

Good level

The Pugarazzi reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Pugs.

  • Hip Dysplasia (Preliminary)

Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Patellar Luxation

Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • Tracheal Hypoplasia

A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

  • Pyruvate Kinase Deficiency (PKD), Pug Type, Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), Hyperuricosuria (HUU), Pug Dog Encephalitis (PDE), Primary Lens Luxation (PLL)

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

I had such a wonderful experience getting my puppy from Crystal. From the very beginning, Crystal was kind, responsive, and genuinely cared about making sure her puppies went to the right homes. She was patient in answering all of my questions and kept me updated with photos and information, which made the whole process exciting and reassuring. When I picked up my puppy, it was clear how much love and care Crystal had put into raising them. My puppy was happy, healthy, and so well-socialized—it was obvious he came from a nurturing environment. Crystal also provided helpful tips and guidance for the transition, which made everything so much easier. I’m beyond grateful for the experience and for the newest member of my family.

I had just discovered Good Dog for the first time and happened to stumble upon Crystal and Justin’s pugs, and I could not be happier that I found them. Crystal was absolutely amazing and so friendly. She made the process smooth, enjoyable, always gave me updates and new pictures, and was more than happy to answer any of my questions. Their pugs are truly out of this world. My baby boy that I got from them (Flounder) has the most wonderful personality and is incredibly sweet. He is a bundle of joy that I’m beyond grateful for. There is so much love put into everything they do and it truly shows. I honestly can’t say enough good things about them. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a pug as a new family member.

Crystal is fantastic. She is knowledgeable and supported me throughout my journey to my new loving family. My pugs are just great and so loving. Crystal has been there to answer any questions, the packet I received when I picked up my puppies was extremely thorough and her advice continues to help and reassure me. Thank you!

Crystal has been amazing! As a first time puppy owner, she made everything so easy and answered all my questions with so much patience. We met at her residence and were lucky enough to see the puppies bonding with each other and even with their parents. You could just feel all the life and love in that home!! Our pug came home with all his paperwork and the sweetest little goodie bag! You can tell these puppies come from a pure bloodline and an even purer heart. My family and I are beyond grateful for our new baby, he’s already brought us so much joy.

Crystal is amazing. From the beginning, the process of adopting my lil pug Theo was seamless. She is super responsive to any questions and sent updates with photos on how Theo was growing/getting ready to go home! The pick up process was very smooth and I felt more comfortable going home with my new pup after she explained the process of transitioning. She cares so much about her pups and it shows. Thank you so much!!! 😊😇🙏🏼❤️
