I'm Jenna S., the breeder behind The Teacup Homestead Miniature Dachshunds located in Mountain Home, AR. Our dogs are loving, intelligent, and treasured members of our family, known for their calm and gentle nature. In our breeding program, we emphasize both health and temperament to raise well-rounded, family-friendly dogs.
Q. & A. with Jenna
Why did you start breeding?
We began our Miniature Dachshund breeding program after falling in love with the calm and gentle dispositions of our first two dogs. Seeing how gentle & patient our dogs were with our four young children inspired us to raise family-friendly dachshunds that are a blessing to other families.
What makes your program special?
Our breeding program is small and intentional. We responsibly breed calm, healthy, and intelligent dogs to ensure that our puppies make wonderful additions to any family! Our puppies are raised alongside our children, chickens, and other critters on our little homestead, making them well-rounded and social. We periodically have AKC registered litters, too.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies have longhaired coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include piebald, red, black and tan, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
