I run a small breeding program that allows me to give each of my puppies, dogs, and breedings the proper care and attention they each deserve. I am dedicated to providing happy, healthy, and well-socialized pups for others to welcome into their family. I love my pups and know you will love them, too!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    My life revolves around my dogs and meeting their needs both socially and medically. I strive to bring you the healthiest, most well-rounded puppies. I am very proud to be breeding these incredible dogs. It is important to me that I am breeding versatile, socialized, and healthy pups for my buyers to welcome into their homes and hearts.

  • What makes your program special?

    My dogs and puppies are considered members of my family, and they get the best care I can provide. My commitment is to provide you with a professional and friendly puppy-buying experience. That includes always having responsible practices for breeding, training, and rehoming my puppies. I am very dedicated to what I do and what I aim to achieve as a breeder. I work with passion, heart, and integrity, and I truly want what's best for the Bordoodle line.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Bordoodle puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Bordoodle puppies include gold, white and gold, white and red merle, white and blue merle, white and black, white and red, red, sable, saddleback sable, red merle, and blue merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Barbara

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and $1,750 final payment, before taxes & fees.

"The price includes first round of vaccines, deworming, microchipped and health guaranteed vet check before coming home. Each puppy will leave with goodies in their take home bag, such as food! A non refundable deposit is required to secure your puppy. This goes towards the total price of your puppy."

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Full Embark Panel, DNA Profile

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    Barbara is and was wonderful. She answered many of my questions as a new dog owner.     I contacted Barbara about one of her border collie puppies that I fell in love with on her profile. I was going through a really difficult time and had never had my own dog and so I had a lot of concerns and questions. Barbara was amazingly reassuring and confident and was able to make me feel comfortable enough to take Duke. She was even able to coordinate delivery to my house which was a huge help given my circumstances at the time. Fast forward a 5 weeks later, I could not be happier. Duke has warmed up my house and made it a home. He came with potty and crate training already under way and was a breeze to reinforce the work that Barbara had already begun. On several different occasions I have called her for advice and it has always been spot on. I highly recommend her puppies and also her service as a professional and just as a good human being. She takes her work very seriously and it's obvious how much effort she puts into giving her puppies the best chance at a great life.

    Barbara was such a pleasure to work with! She was very patient and responsive with our questions. She was so kind to send up photos and videos of our pup in the weeks leading up to us picking him up, and also allowed us to come by to meet him and spend some time with him beforehand. She genuinely cares for her pups and spends a lot of time in their first weeks with them with training, that makes the transition to forever homes a breeze.     We are so happy that we chose The Weekend Farm. Barb was very responsive to my questions before we got our puppy and still is now that we have her. It is apparent that Barb’s dogs are her family and not a transaction.
