I'm Brittney O., the breeder behind The Yorkie Empire located in Woodway, TX. We offer Yorkshire Terriers that are bred in our home and delivered in our home. They're raised around children and other dogs of all ages. For puppy questions you can call or we can do a video chat. We want you to find the best puppy for your family.
Q. & A. with Brittney
Why did you start breeding?
I started learning about dog breeding from a young age. I grew up in a family that bred dogs most of my childhood. As an adult I've been breeding Yorkies since 2018 with my husband. We've helped many people find the perfect puppy for their family over the years. Most of the people we sell to come from word of mouth & we have many repeat customers because of the way we treat them and the Yorkie's.
What makes your program special?
It's a family owned and operated business with real people who treat everyone (including the dogs) with fairness, respect and honesty.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include chocolate, tan and white and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Parent dogs
Mara, mom
Yorkshire Terrier
About Mara
Mara is a female Yorkshire Terrier. Carefully selected as a great representative of her breed, Brittney decided to make her part of their program. Brittney has passed Good Dog’s screening process, which involved a review of their breeding practices, environment, and the mental and physical health of their dogs.
July, mom
Yorkshire Terrier
About July
July is black and gold with very straight soft hair. She's the sweetest thing, loves to cuddle and is a great mom. She's also very well mannered and keeps the other dogs in line, like a mama.
Anakin, dad
Yorkshire Terrier
About Anakin
Anakin is black and tan, with wavy slightly coarse hair. The older he gets I see a few sprinkles of grey. He's the smallest dog in our house, but the spunkiest. He doesn't let his size slow him down.

Brittney is awesome to deal with, the whole process from picking a new baby out to even now. She is always there to answer questions, show you your little one , give you updates and truly wants to know how her little one’s strive in their new home. Her puppies come to you very well cared for! They are adapted to being held, to noises, and love to play. My little Oliver is the best…he plays hard, is smart as a whip, loves to cuddle and is fiercely loyal. If you are seriously considering a new pet, you can’t go wrong with your involvement with this breeder she is truly loyal to her pups!

Our experience with Brittney was incredible! She was incredibly responsive and we were able to meet the pups on a video call since we could not make it out to them to choose! We picked out pup based on her evaluation of his temperament and she was spot on! We have been so pleased❤️ I would recommend Brittney to anyone I know!

Brittney was wonderful from start to finish in leading us through the adoption of our precious Callie Joy! Through her posted videos we got to see our puppy right after birth and through the weeks that followed until she came home with us. Brittney’s knowledge, love, and care for the newborn puppies is above and beyond. She socialized Callie with her litter mates so well that when we brought her home Callie and our two other Yorkies were instant friends. Callie was also well on her way to being potty pad trained thanks to Brittney. Callie is 7 months old now and we love her feisty sweet little self so much! Thank you Brittney for blessing us with Callie Joy!

It was a pleasure working with Brittney. Any question that I had before picking up our puppy she was quick to respond. Upon picking up our fur baby, she was great at giving all of our puppy’s information. She provided a small kit with items that would help us for the first couple of days with our puppy. It was a quick and easy process picking our sweet pup.

Brittney was extremely a pleasure to work with. She was responsive and knowledgeable about the breed. You can tell Brittney and family truly care about their dogs. She sent regular updates and pictures of Chance and the puppies. I truly appreciate how she asked what we wanted to name our puppy and started calling him but name, this truly helped with the transition honestly and he immediately answered to it. Good dog made the process smooth from initial connection, to arranging pick up, and secure payment. Brittney is amazing and so happy we have Chance!
