I'm Tamara W., the breeder behind Thunder Mountain Labs located in Gilmer, TX. Thunder Mountain Labs was established in 2008 when we got our first Lab. Little did we know how much the Chocolate Lab, named Thunder Mountain, was going to steal our hearts. In 2019, Thunder Mountain is older and very loved. We decided that it was time to have a new set of Labs to love and breed.

Why did you start breeding?
We fell in love with the Labrador and wanted to be able to share all of their wonderful qualities with others.What makes your program special?
When we decided to breed we did not want to breed just to breed. We wanted our program to have a purpose. Out of each one of our litters we offer at least one puppy to a Veteran in need of a service dog. We work with local groups that offer training services to the Veteran at no cost to them.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include silver, charcoal, yellow, black, chocolate, and champagne. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

"The price includes AKC registration, microchip, deworming, first set of shots and vet health check. All of our puppies are the same price regardless of color. Deposit can be moved to future litter if desired pup is not available."

Hip Dysplasia

Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
