Stephanie Y.

Breeder of Australian Shepherds

Meet the breeder

I'm Stephanie Y., the breeder behind Thundering Hooves Ranch's Australian Shepherds located in Floresville, TX. We are lifelong dog enthusiasts, and we’re excited to share our passion and purpose with others through our breeding program. Each of our dogs has brought so much happiness to us throughout their lives. We want to do our part to produce wonderful, healthy dogs that can bring other people joy as well, and we strive to provide each of our puppies with loving homes where they can live happy lives. Puppies sell without breeding rights unless special arrangements are made with us.

Q. & A. with Stephanie

  • Why did you start breeding?

I have had Aussies since I was a kid and just love the intelligence and loyalty of the breed.
  • What makes your program special?

I strive to breed healthy pups that are easily trained and very social. We looked a long time to find our female, Star, so we could offer a variety of colors to customers. Star and Moon have all the colors covered! I prefer the dark red over light red and the contrast between the dark and light on my merles.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include red & white, black & white, red merle, blue merle, black tri-color, and red tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Puppies sell without breeding rights unless special arrangements are made with us. We will not hold puppies without a deposit.
