I'm Nicole R., the breeder behind ThunderStruck Siberians located in Lake Park, MN. We're a small town Minnesota family working together to raise beautiful, healthy, and well adjusted Siberian Huskies. All of our puppies are born and raised in our home by our family.
Our children are hands on from day one; helping with cleaning, feeding, and socializing.
Q. & A. with Nicole
Why did you start breeding?
I have always had a love for Siberian Huskies!! I’ve been studying and learning all things Husky since a very young age, in Elementary School I used to bring home books about the breed, sledding, and Alaska instead of the typical story books! Creating a solid and reliable program that produces well rounded puppies has been a dream that has cultivated over the past 25 years.
What makes your program special?
Our puppies are family raised! Being a committed family that strives together to produce confident, well rounded, and loving puppies is an import foundation for our program. We do ENS, introduce nail trimming and modified baths at 1 week old, potty training is introduced at 3 weeks, and kennel training at 4 weeks of age. We are constantly working with on expected behavior around a household.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include red and white and black and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
