Q. & A. with Suzanne
Why did you start breeding?
Even as a young child, I have always liked dogs. One of my earliest memories is looking in the refrigerator and seeing small vials of rabies vaccine. I had played with a dog, later determined to have rabies, and therefore shots were for me. The doctor would come by the house everyday to give me the shots he stored in our refrigerator. I was about 5 years old or so. This experience did not deter my love of dogs. We always had a dog since they “followed” me home. Later on my father brought a beautiful Doberman Pinscher bitch home. That’s when my love affair with having well-bred dogs and dog showing began.
What makes your program special?
Wicked has been shown in conformation and she has her Certificate of Merit (CM), along with dock diving, herding, farm dog, barn hunt and trick dog events. She has earned titles in all events. She has the ability to be handed off to Junior Handlers with minimal notice. Her temperament is one that is open, happy and willing to work for anyone at the end of the lead.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
