Q. & A. with Cathy

  • Why did you start breeding?

A consistent love for this wonderful breed and dog training encouraged the beginning of Timbercreek Acres. I understand the very important role that breeders undertake; today’s breeders are the guardians of the future Chesapeake Bay Retrievers. It has been an absolute joy of a journey, and I am so happy to be able to share these wonderful dogs with other loving families and individuals.
  • What makes your program special?

My dogs are bred to produce healthy, sound, and versatile pups. I am very conscious about who I rehome my puppies to and always ensure that each one goes to the best home possible complementary to its personality and ability. My ultimate goal is to produce athletic and well-structured canines that can excel within various performance venues and have the ability to be the greatest family companions. My heavy involvement in the show world speaks to the standards that I breed my dogs by. I will always stand behind my puppies. I can provide extensive knowledge and guidance for any family looking to bring home one of these wonderful dogs. I love what I do and truly want the very best for my puppies and their forever families.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
