Q. & A. with Lynn
Why did you start breeding?
I have helped raise numerous litters of Border Collies over the last 20 years. I have bred 1-2 litters a year for over 10 years.
What makes your program special?
We strive to raise the best athlete that also is a great pet and family member. The majority of their life is spent as a family member, so temperament and willingness to learn and please is so important. The puppies are raised with other breeds of dogs, cats, goats, guinea hens, and Miniature Horses (my home is a menagerie). We live on 13 acres hobby farm. Visitors are always welcome.
What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies include smooth and rough coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include blue merle, red merle, black, gold, red, sable, and sable merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.

Border Collie
About Mellow Yellow
Mellow Yellow is the best Border Collie ever. He is gorgeous inside and out. He loves his agility (sometimes too much). He is a devoted companion and friend and is happy to curl up with you and watch TV. All the puppies he has sired are loving and aim to please.
Great health testing
DNA Disease Panel, Hip Dysplasia Finals (OFA, PennHIP, BVA, SV, FCI).
Halo, mom
Border Collie
About Halo
Halo is a very sweet girl. She is low drive for a Border Collie. I think she would have done well in herding events, but just not enough hours in a day to pursue all the dog sports. Her favorite activities are herding and chasing the other dogs and hanging out on the couch watching TV.

Parent health testing
Breeder-Reported Testing
Great level
Timeless Border Collies reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Border Collies.
Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
Shoulder Osteochondrosis
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

Lynn has been amazing! We brought our puppy home 3 weeks ago when she was just about 12 weeks old into our suburban family, and I can’t imagine a better experience. The puppy was well adjusted and had clearly been worked with to start setting a great foundation, handled well and often, and socialized.
We picked her up at Lynn’s property, which is beautiful, clean, and well taken care of. We were able to meet the parent dogs who were both well groomed, well behaved, healthy, and very friendly.
Lynn was, and continues to be, very responsive to all of my questions and has given me a ton of helpful training ideas and resources, and has really gone out of her way to set us up for success to be good border collie parents. She sent several pictures and videos of the puppy before we picked her up.
And the puppy… well, she’s just the sweetest, smartest, and cutest girl in the whole world 😊, and there’s no doubt in my mind that all of the puppies from Lynn and Timeless Border Collies are close seconds 😉.

The whole process went off without a hitch with 100% satisfaction. We talked at length with the breeder, chose a puppy, made a visit to see the litter, and settled on a day and time for delivery. She will make a perfect therapy dog - confident and friendly - just as promised. People are asking where we got our puppy, and we recommend Timeless and your service without hesitation. Thanks Timeless Border Collies and GoodDog.

Lynn was great! She gave me all
The information I needed and followed-up after our long trip home. Great experience!!
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
