Meet the breeder

I'm Laurie L., the breeder behind Tiny Dancer Dachshunds located in Tacoma, WA. I’m a small-scale breeder of adorable Dachshund puppies. I love what I do and strive to produce the best puppies for my buyers. I provide my puppies with a safe, clean, and enriching environment where they can grow and learn about the world until they are ready to venture out and experience life with their forever families!

Q. & A. with Laurie

  • Why did you start breeding?

My auntie has been my mentor at breeding dogs, as she bred AKC professionally for 30 years. It turned into a passion for my autistic son and me to do together. It's a personal passion and hobby of mine to help spread love and joy through breeding!
  • What makes your program special?

I only breed my females once a year and not back to back and only 4 times in their life. They are raised as part of our family. They sleep in our bed as our children! I do everything I can to ensure my dogs and puppies are getting the best care in every aspect of their lives with me.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Our puppies include smooth and longhaired coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include red, brindle, blue and tan, and black and cream. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
