I'm Katie & TJ T., the breeder behind TK Australian Shepherds located in Crawfordsville, IN. We breed Standard ASDR Australian Shepherds in our home, with genetic testing performed on each of our dogs. A health guarantee is included with each pup. They come with tails docked and dew claws removed, dewormed, and their first set of shots. They also come preloved by us and our 4 children. Why did you start breeding?
When I got my first Aussie, our male Cosmo, I was in love with the breed already and had done my research. After having him a year or so we decided to get females and start breeding to help more families like ours find their new Aussie too!What makes your program special?
We raise our pups in our home with lots of love. All adults are genetically tested before breeding and we provide a health guarantee for 12 months against anything genetically. We also take any of our pups back if owners come into a circumstance where they are unable to keep a pup!Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
