I'm Amanda & Terry T., the breeder behind TLC Retrievers located in Four Oaks, NC. Our dogs are bred for health and temperament with a focus on conformation, athleticism and intelligence. We are dedicated to providing our families with wonderful, healthy family pet as well as a hunting companion. All of our are dogs are AKC registered and have hunting titles.

Price
"The price includes the guarantee, AKC registration, first round of vaccinations, deworming, and puppy socialization. Deposit is refundable if we don’t have what you’re looking for. If you change your mind after placing deposit it’s non-refundable, but can be transferred to a different litter later on."

Betty is gentle-natured and loves morning/afternoon walks, playing fetch in the pond, hunting with her human, and belly rubs. Her calm, patient demeanor makes them wonderful around kids. Betty's impressive performance in the hunt test world is a testament to her exceptional abilities. Although her pedigree doesn't boast any titled dogs, she has consistently demonstrated her skills. At just 16 months old, Betty passed her first master test with flying colors, handled by a talented 9-year-old kid. This dynamic duo continued to make waves, earning Betty her Hunting Retriever Champion and Master Hunter titles. Betty was very trainable at a young age. Our son 8yrs old at the time and Betty only a year old competed in AKC hunt test. They started in junior level and finished out in Master level. AKC registered with all recommended health clearances, including OFA certified hips and elbows.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
DNA Disease Panel, Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC), D Locus (Dilute) DNA test, Centronuclear Myopathy (CNM)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

My fur baby is doing great. He is already sitting on command and staying sometimes. Hes doing good with house training. Hasn't quite got it down. But he is doing much better. I just need his shot records . I haven't received them yet.
