I'm Amanda & Terry T., the breeder behind TLC Retrievers located in Four Oaks, NC. Our dogs are bred for health and temperament with a focus on conformation, athleticism and intelligence. We are dedicated to providing our families with wonderful, healthy family pet as well as a hunting companion. All of our are dogs are AKC registered and have hunting titles.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include black, chocolate, and yellow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Amanda & Terry

Amanda & Terry has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Price

Puppy prices include a $250 deposit and between $1,250 - $1,750 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes the guarantee, AKC registration, first round of vaccinations, deworming, and puppy socialization. Deposit is refundable if we don’t have what you’re looking for. If you change your mind after placing deposit it’s non-refundable, but can be transferred to a different litter later on.”

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • DNA Disease Panel, Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC), D Locus (Dilute) DNA test, Centronuclear Myopathy (CNM)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    My fur baby is doing great. He is already sitting on command and staying sometimes. Hes doing good with house training. Hasn't quite got it down. But he is doing much better. I just need his shot records . I haven't received them yet.
