I'm Shanna T., the breeder behind Todd Family Homestead located in Bakersfield, CA. Daddy dog was raised as a therapeutic support animal for traumatized youth. He is gentle, loyal, intuitive, and patient with both people and small animals. Mommy dog is naturally easy-going, very intelligent, and loves to cuddle. She was born to AKC parents and has high genetic diversity.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I fell in love with my first Goldendoodle and want to share the joy of knowing this fun, adaptable, supportive, silly, and intelligent breed.

  • What makes your program special?

    Pups are bred and raised for gentle temperament, intelligence, responsiveness, tolerance, and maximum cuteness. An F2B Goldendoodle is a backcross produced by breeding an F2 Goldendoodle back to a Poodle, resulting in approximately 62.5% Poodle and 37.5% Golden Retriever. They have low to non-shedding coats, and tend to have more Retriever traits when compared to an F1B Goldendoodle.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include cream, apricot, red, and chocolate. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Shanna

Shanna has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Puppy prices include a $500 deposit and between $1,000 - $2,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.
Pay over time with Klarna.

“Price includes first immunizations, deworming, wellness check, socialization, beginning potty training, weekly updates on chosen puppy, and delivery of puppy up to 90 miles from breeder home. Deposit fully refunded if any health concerns discovered by TFH prior to rehoming. Half deposit is refundable if reservation canceled before 4 weeks old. Nonrefundable if canceled after 4 weeks old.”

Shanna may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
