I'm Marilyn L., the breeder behind Top Notch Pupz located in Silver Springs Shores, FL. We’re proud of the healthy, affectionate, and behaviorally well-rounded puppies we raise for other families to love! We cherish each of our dogs and puppies, and we do everything we can to make sure that they get the best lives possible. That includes everything from choosing healthy parents with good temperaments, to proper socialization and daily care, to placing them in loving homes with wonderful families. We strive to provide each of our puppies and their families with a truly positive experience!

    Specializing in teacup and toy puppies for pet-only homes. 🐾 We focus strictly on companionship—no breeding or showing. We personally review every application to find the best 'forever' match for our little ones!

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our Poodle puppies are toy size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our Poodle puppies include apricot, cream, and red. Yorkipoo puppies include black and tan and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Marilyn

Marilyn has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Marilyn partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,000 - $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price include health certificate with vaccinations, worming , pad training plus socialization skills. The deposit holds your puppy balance is due before puppy goes home . Deposits are NON REFUNDABLE only transferable without a deposit. We are just hypothetically speaking.”

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.     We were in search of a new puppy but wasnt sure what breed we wanted to go with. I came across Top Notch Pupz page here on the app one night and found the cutest little girl yorkipoo. To be honest, being new to the app, I wasn’t totally sure how legit it was but decided to Inquire about the pup anyway. Marilyn responded almost immediately and answered all my questions. She made me feel so comfortable that I couldn’t help but submit a deposit for the little girl within an hour of speaking to Marilyn. From then, all the way to the time we got our girl 3 weeks later, Marilyn answered any questions I had and sent me pics and videos anytime I wanted. On the day of pickup, we met halfway and she was very communicative, transparent and right on time. The second I saw my little girl, I knew we made the right decision! Thank you Marilyn for our beautiful girl, we are so happy to have her home and she has adjusted really well. Goes to show she was well taken care of before she got to us!

    I’ve been looking for the perfect Yorkie pup for about six years now. I’ve seen many on-line during that time with various breeders across the country! I’m from New Mexico and I was in Florida for the month of February. I looked for Yorkies on-line several times while there and nothing came up that really stirred my heart!!! I tried one last time on our way out of Florida and just before arriving in Tallahassee on a Saturday evening, I found Marilyn and her Top Notch Pupz!! I was so excited when I saw “Bear” and read her awesome description of him! I knew immediately in my heart that he was the Yorkie I’d been waiting for!!! I messaged Marilyn quite late that evening hoping that she would reply before we checked out of our hotel the next day. Thankfully, she responded quickly and she explained the process to me for purchasing Bear. The whole process was easy and fast. I‘ve never bought a dog on-line and I was nervous about it, but Marilyn quickly put me at ease, with her kindness and enthusiasm for Bear finding his forever home!!! She was also very accommodating and we were able to connect within two days!!! Marilyn was very willing to work with us and I was highly impressed with her professionalism and her love and care for her puppies because I’m an animal lover too!!! She had such good vibes and I could feel it!!! She took Bear for his puppy shots and health check-up first thing on Monday morning and we made arrangements to meet just after noon in Ocala. The minute I met Marilyn in person and I held my Baby Bear in my arms, I knew in my heart that I made an excellent choice in breeders and Bear is definitely a top quality Yorkie from head to toe!!! We’ve had Bear now for two weeks today and he’s doing so well with his potty training and he’s happy, healthy, energetic, and he’s so smart!!! He’s exactly as Marilyn so beautifully described him in her assessment of his big personality in a little bundle of joy!!! I’m so blessed to have my Baby Bear and to have met Marilyn!!!
